McLicky, the Ice Cream Parlor's Lucky leprechaun Logo!

This has been a hot summer and a good way to cool off is to take yourself or the

family for a yummy cool dessert at McLicky’s, located at 250 East High Street

in historic downtown Pottstown! (Next to The Very Best and Gallery on High)

This bright pink and green ice cream parlor opened in the beginning of July,

and offers various treats such as water ice, milk shakes, gelatis, floats and ice

cream sundaes and cones.

The Tasty Menu.

There is an inviting long counter with  those “old-fashioned drug fountain type

spinny stools”, and cute little cafe chairs and tables. If you feel like sitting

outside there is side-walk seating as well!

Assistant Manager of McLicky's, Neil McGarry

The assistant manager, Neil McGarry say’s he likes working there because he

“has fun meeting all the local people.  We’ve been doing well, and are growing

every day.” Several customers came in while we were there, families, couples,

and a few kids who said they walked down from Third Street for a delicious

frozen treat. Even local mailmen, Tom Coyle and Mark came into relax and

take a break with a sweet escape.

The Pottstown Mercury did a nice write-up about this new local business, and

we hope you will go in and support them, we really enjoyed our visit!
